[The whole Guardian biz has been going alright for Jack Frost, but he still can't shake this desire to check in on the guy they beat into the ground. Literally. Jack isn't exactly genre savvy, but he figures ignoring the guy who nearly ruined everything because he was ignored would be a bad idea? Just maybe.]

[Naturally, he's found his way out of the hole in the ground after a while, which barely helps. The poor Nightmares all withered away and died before he managed to get free. They won't torment him any longer, but he's all alone.]

[No one can see him. Is this how he'll have to live until he fades?]

[he swings his staff out to the side and raises his brow, as if to say "I'm not armed and totally harmless" which is a brazen lie]
